I was tasked with developing a web app for ‘SparkMail’. The project involved developing two distinct user personas, iterating design options wireframing, prototyping and creating a full mockup.
My Role
responsible for the full delivery of the final product with valuable input from my mentors and colleagues who worked on alternative options.

Problem
I was tasked with designing two flows for an email marketing campaign web app called SparkMail. The two flows walked through the same screens, but with two different user roles. The ?Admin? required the highest level of access while the ?Basic? user only needed access to a few features.
Audience
SparkMail was looking to improve the experience for user roles roles with their audience of small business owners and entrepreneurs.
Personas
Solution
The design evolved as a crisp corporate app with a basic color palette and clean lines. Key to this type of app is being able to stay track of where you are in the architecture of the site. Menu hierarchy and site structure were developed to be as streamlined as possible.
Learnings
The importance of prototyping and user testing was critical in the success of the project. Time permitting it would have been beneficial to do a further round of testing prior to launching of the final product.
