Digital product design
UX and UI work for retail, delivery and communications products.
I run design consultancies and lead complex projects from concept to completion, keeping design intent, cost and programme together.
I trained at the University of Sheffield and qualified as a chartered architect in 1994. I spent the next decade in practice in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Brunei, Ireland and the UK, then three years as an associate director at Pozzoni in Manchester.
In 2007 I moved to Cyprus to build and lead the design team for Minthis Hills, a €300M golf resort. From 2009 I spent nine years on royal commissions in Oman for the Royal Court Affairs, including palaces for two heads of state, the Royal Mosque in Nizwa and the Royal Opera House extension. I then directed design on a Four Seasons hotel, branded residences and marina development.
Today I am General Manager of CID Gulf, a 30-strong architecture and engineering consultancy in Muscat, where I lead the design and site supervision teams and have taken the practice into new sectors, including renewable energy. Alongside architecture I design digital products.
